Telangana Hyderabad - Authorities seize Rs. 46.61 lakh in Election Code checks

Saturday saw the seizure of a total of Rs. 46.61 lakh as part of the authorities' ongoing examinations carried out by the election law. The Flying Squads grabbed Rs. 2.03 lakh, while the police officers took the remaining Rs. 44.57 lakh. In addition, the officials confiscated valuables valued at Rs. 6.23 lakh. Regarding the transportation of cash and other commodities, a total of 21 complaints were filed; 14 of those concerns resulted in formal complaints.
 

In a news release, district election Officer and ghmc Commissioner Ronald Rose stated that 10 charges had been filed and 369.72 liters of illicit alcohol had been found. Cash totaling Rs. 2.20 crore and other goods valued at Rs. 29.85 lakh had been taken after the election notification was released. 684.17 liters of illicit alcohol were collected, and 41 cases in all were reported, along with 43 arrests.
 

Apart from that, valuable items worth Rs. 6.23 lakh were also seized by the authorities. A total of 21 complaints were registered regarding transporting cash and other goods, of which, 14 translated into FIRs. 

Commissioner of the ghmc Ronald Rose announced on wednesday that a comprehensive parking policy intended to alleviate the challenges experienced by the general people when looking for a safe place to park their automobiles in hyderabad is in the works.
