Tourists join the holi frenzy-markets throb with colors!!!

Ahead of holi, people flocked to the nation's capital's markets on Sunday, buying bright wigs, fashionable water pistols, and colorful gulals at the last minute. The national capital's Sadar Bazaar took on a festive appearance as stores reported heavy customer traffic purchasing a variety of goods in honor of the festival of colors. Prior to the lok sabha elections, masks featuring political figures such as rahul gandhi, the congress leader, and prime minister Narendra Modi were popular in the marketplaces. These masks added a political touch to the holi celebrations.

A vendor in one of the packed marketplaces in the nation's capital reported that compared to other products for sale, there was a greater demand for masks and water cannons with images of political figures. "There is a high demand for water cannons featuring PM Modi. These water cannons are priced fairly for the consumers. All things considered, this year's sales are marginally less than last year's. The markets are booming, though," he remarked. According to a different holi merchandise trader, this year's demand for gulal and colors was greater than last.

A Sadar market vendor named Md. Rashid told ANI that water cannons with pictures of prime minister Modi, Congressman Yogi, and rahul gandhi were in high demand because the elections were quickly approaching. Compared to last year, we sold more things this year. Saleem Ahmed, a different retailer who specializes in brightly colored wigs, also touted the year's sales.

"On holi, everyone likes to dress festively. This year, these vibrant wigs are really popular. This year's total sales are higher than last year's, even before Holi. One of the reasons pre-holiday consumers are coming out in such large numbers, he added, is the nice weather. people from all around the nation rushed to the local markets to buy candy and paint. Makeshift stores selling gulal, colors, toys, and other décor were scattered around the streets.
