Victory Venkatesh's newest film, Saindhav, was released during Sankranthi, however it failed to make a significant impact at the box office. Venky's 75th film, directed by Sailesh Kolanu of HIT fame, had a terrible theatrical run. The film is now streaming on Prime Video in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, with english subtitles. There was some optimism that Saindhav may redeem itself on the streaming platform, but the reality is extremely dismal.

Sailesh Kolanu has received a lot of criticism for falling short by such a large margin despite having a superb cast, a large budget, and all of his resources available. It's being called a snoozefest, with some viewers tuning out after only 20 minutes. While some found the first half decent, the second half was a total disaster. Many people are questioning the film's aim, pointing out that the plot revolved around saving the daughter just to disclose her untimely demise in the finale.
It leaves viewers thinking, "What is the point of the film?" How can the hero's victory against the evil be satisfying when the daughter's fate is so heartbreaking? Many others were also dissatisfied that Venkatesh's outstanding performance was squandered on what appeared to be a pointless film. Ouch, indeed!
