VB-G ram G Bill 2025: What Is Special About the Proposed Rural Employment Mission Bill
The Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural) Bill, 2025, popularly known as the VB-G ram G Bill, is set to be introduced in the lok sabha today.
The bill will be tabled by Union Rural Development and Agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Along with introducing the bill, the minister will also move a motion seeking the House’s consideration of the proposed legislation.

The bill is data-aligned with the government’s long-term national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, which aims to transform india into a developed nation by the 100th year of Independence.

This guarantee will apply every financial year to every rural household.
Adult members of rural households who voluntarily opt to undertake unskilled manual work will be eligible under the scheme.
