Chief minister A revanth reddy said on wednesday that while some people expected BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao to return as chief minister within six months, their hopes will be dashed. Addressing the birth anniversary festivities of balladeer gaddar at ravindra Bharati, he declared that the people of telangana will see "the end of people with such dreams."
The congress government in the State was democratically elected and would provide a stable government for five years, he said, adding that the gaddar awards, established by the State government, would be presented to poets, artists, and film celebrities every year on Gaddar's birth anniversary. He stated that the matter of erecting the gaddar statue on Tank Bund would be reviewed in cabinet before making a final decision.
He said that jobless youth had stoked the fires, providing genuine energy to the campaign for a separate telangana, but that the 10-year BRS rule had paid the least attention to the employment issue. revanth reddy accused the BRS leadership of not taking the issue of justice for the unemployed seriously and stated that his administration was working hard to meet the deadline for delivering its promises.
The telangana State Public service Commission has been reformed by the state government, with a new chairman and members appointed. The recruiting procedure will also begin very soon to meet the desires of the unemployed. Taking great offence to BRS leaders' criticism of the recruiting procedure, the chief minister wanted them to understand how pleased the candidates were when they received their employment letters.
