Tuesday morning near Leh, Ladakh, an earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale was detected, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). 

Tremors were detected around 05:39:56 indian Standard Time (IST), according to the NCS. The earthquake's depth was measured at 5 kilometers. "Earthquake of Magnitude:3.4, Occurred on 30-01-2024, 05:39:56 IST, Lat: 35.27 & Long: 75.40, Depth: 5 Km, Region: Leh, Ladakh," the NCS announced on X.

The National Centre for Seismology reports that at 5:39 AM today, an earthquake with a Richter magnitude of 3.4 struck Leh, Ladakh. A little earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 struck Leh and Ladakh early on tuesday morning. The sensations lasted only a few seconds. There have been no reports of fatalities, injuries, or property damage to date.
The epicentre of the earthquake was located in Leh and Ladakh, according to a National Centre for Seismology post on X. At 5:39 AM (Indian Standard Time – IST), an earthquake struck the area, the NCS tweeted. This occurs two days after a 3.3-magnitude earthquake rocked Chhattisgarh, sending people into a state of terror. The epicenter of the january 28 earthquake, according to NCS, occurred in Surajpur, Chhattisgarh. At 4:34 PM (IST), the region was rocked by an earthquake that struck 10 kilometers deep.
