At one point, the notion in india was that two children were kissing, and three were saying no. However, times have changed, and india, with its rapidly growing youth population, is on track to transform into a developed country. In contrast, china, once the world's most populous country, is facing a new challenge: a declining population.

China, which had been known for its robust population, is now experiencing a significant decrease. Chinese youth are reportedly showing reluctance to get married and have children, with many opting to forego marriage altogether. This trend is believed to have been exacerbated by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, causing concerns about a declining birth rate.

The Chinese government recently announced an anticipated decrease of two million in the country's population by 2023. The birth rate has been steadily declining for the past seven years, coupled with an increase in the death rate, especially after the COVID-19 outbreak. The government has introduced measures to encourage couples to have more children, urging newlyweds to consider having up to three children.

Despite these efforts, many couples in china seem uninterested in starting families. The number of deaths has almost doubled in recent years, reaching about 11.1 million last year, while the number of births decreased by 540,000. This has led to a net decrease in the total population, with deep concerns about the demographic challenges facing the country.

China, with its current population of 1.4 billion, is grappling with the implications of this demographic shift. Meanwhile, india, having surpassed china in population last year, continues to experience significant demographic changes with its burgeoning youth population.
