PM Modi Visits Andhra's Historic Ramayana Site...

Today, prime minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to the Veerbhadra temple in lepakshi, andhra pradesh, a location with significant meaning in the Hindu epic Ramayana. It is thought that Jatayu, the enormous eagle, accompanied Goddess Sita to lepakshi after she was kidnapped by Ravan. After providing vital information regarding Goddess Sita's captivity, the dying Jatayu was given "Moksha," the heavenly release, by Lord ram in Lepakshi. The prime minister's spiritual pilgrimage to the southern states coincides with the great ram temple in Ayodhya's 'Pran Pratishtha' celebration.

Beginning today, the prime minister will visit andhra pradesh and kerala for two days in order to inaugurate a number of development projects, such as the international Ship Repair Facility at Cochin Shipyard Limited and the New Dry Dock. According to the Prime Minister's Office, PM Modi will pray on wednesday at the Keralan temples of Guruvayur and Thriprayar Shree Ramaswami. On january 22, thousands of pilgrims are anticipated to travel to ayodhya to see the placement of the Lord ram idol in the sanctum sanctorum.

Additionally, local authorities are strengthening security measures, organizing logistical plans for every attendance, and preparing for the expected spike in visitors around the january 22 event.

A team of judges choose among three options, and the statue of "Ram Lalla," or young ram, created by Mysuru artist Arun Yogiraj, was chosen to be installed in the ram temple. According to Champat Rai, general secretary of the ram temple trust, a jury unanimously chose Mr. Yogiraj's black stone ram Lalla from idols fashioned by three sculptors on Monday.
