S*Xual Violence in Salaar same as Animal
Surprisingly, the BBFC has now granted Salaar a similar 18 grade. Both films get five ratings for violence and injury detail and four stars for sexual violence. The BBFC defines "Salaar" as an action drama in which a man must forsake his quiet existence to assist a buddy in confronting criminal groups, including violent and occasionally gruesome battle sequences involving major bloodshed.
Such sequences will have a mind-blowing influence on the audience if the drama is hard-hitting and the emotions are powerful, but if the screenplay isn't compelling, such scenes will merely leave the audience disgusted. Salaar's recently released Sooreede song suggests that the film would be emotionally charged. So, if the emotions function, such harsh violent images will have a greater impact. Everything now rests on director Prashanth Neel. The film is set for a grand two-part release, with the first installment, ‘Salaar: Ceasefire,’ hitting theaters on december 22nd.”
