Andhra devotee shed blood at Srirangam temple..!?
Trichy's Srirangam Ranganathar temple caused a stir after the temple guard attacked the Andhra devotees. At Trichy Srirangam Ranganatha Swamy temple, the Vaikunda Ekadasi festival will begin today with Thirunedundantakam and continue till january 2. The main event of this festival is the opening of the Parampada Vasaal on the 23rd. In this situation, it is expected that 2.50 lakh devotees will come to Srirangam temple from not only tamil Nadu but also from various foreign states. For this, 2,500 police personnel are engaged in security work.
In this situation, today, the first day of the Vaikunda Ekadasi festival, many devotees are visiting the Trichy Srirangam temple. More than 30 ayyappa devotees from andhra pradesh and karnataka were queuing up to have darshan this morning, especially at Srirangam Ranganatha temple. While the ayyappa devotees were standing in the gayatri Mandapam in front of the sanctum sanctorum, an argument broke out between ayyappa devotee Senna Rao and the temple security. It seems that the security guards and ayyappa devotees attacked each other. In this, Sennara was seriously injured, his nose was broken and he was bleeding.
Following this, he was sitting in the gayatri Mandapam dripping with blood. Seeing this, the devotees there got angry and shouted. After that, Srirangam Assistant Commissioner nivetha Lakshmi, Inspector Aranganathan, and others went to the temple and pacified the protesting Andhra devotees. ayyappa devotees filed a complaint against three people including Bharat, the temple security, at the Srirangam police station. Similarly, a complaint has been filed against ayyappa devotees by temple security. The event is considered inauspicious as the world-renowned Srirangam Ranganatha temple Vaikunda festival was to begin tonight with Thiru Nedundandagam Utsavam. It is to be noted that the temple will be opened after the procession and remedial pujas are performed.
And the explanation is given by the temple administration. This morning at around 7 o'clock in the Srirangam gayatri Mandapam, 34 persons from Andhra hit the bell of the gayatri Mandapam with a loud sound and are holding the bell and shaking it. The temple worker who knocked on this was grabbed by the hair and made to crash into the same bank. So there was a push and shove and the policeman who had knocked also shouted 'Police down down'. It is reported that the other devotees did not allow anyone to have darshan, so they immediately complained to the police and action was taken against the concerned persons.
From andhra pradesh and karnataka, more than 30 people visited Trichy Srirangam Ranganathar temple for Swami Darshan. Then all the people are standing in line for a long time. But the temple guardians escorted a few people separately for a special darshan. They knocked and the security guards spoke disrespectfully with inappropriate language. This led to a big argument and then they attacked them. They said that the police should take appropriate action regarding this incident.
