A five-judge supreme court Constitution bench led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud will rule on the petitions challenging the repeal of Article 370. Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Sanjiv Khanna, B R Gavai, and surya Kant also sit on the bench. After a 16-day hearing, the supreme court reserved its decision on the case on september 5. The supreme Court's ruling is expected to influence numerous significant judgments made by the Centre during the last four years.
