Telangana gave consolation to Congress!?
BJP has crossed halfway to its victory in madhya pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. At the same time, it is said that congress has more chances to form the government in Telangana. In Chhattisgarh, the bjp suffered a setback in the beginning and is now leading by winning 55 seats. In madhya pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, the bjp has crossed the halfway mark. But in Telangana, the congress has crossed the halfway mark. Loss of tribal voter support has also been cited as a reason for Congress's poor performance. Even in madhya pradesh, the congress is facing a decline in tribal voters.
BJP won 155 seats in madhya pradesh against Congress' 72 seats. In Rajasthan, the bjp crossed the halfway mark against the Congress's 70. Similarly in Chhattisgarh, bjp is leading with 54 seats against Congress's 34 seats.
However, in Telangana, chief minister K. congress defeated chandrasekhar Rao's (KCR) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). There congress won 69 seats and BRS won 37 seats.
