Rajinikanth's Jailer has surpassed the lifetime collection of Vijay's Varisu in four days. The jailer is a movie directed by Nelson and produced by sun Pictures. The movie starring Superstar Rajinikanth hit the screens on august 10. The movie Jailer has been getting a wonderful response from the people since its release.
The film is a massive comeback film for Rajini who has been reeling from successive failures. Rajini is very happy with this. Jailer Pan india has been dominating the box office all over india since its release. Apart from that, malayalam actor mohanlal and kannada actor shiva Rajkumar have played a cameo role in the film, so Jailer is getting buzz all over South India. Especially in kerala and Karnataka, Jailer is doing record collections. Jailer, which was close to Rs 100 crore collection on the first day, collected more than Rs 150 crore by the end of the second day. The film, which collected Rs 220 crore at the end of the third day, is said to have collected more than the first day as yesterday was a holiday. It means that only yesterday, the film collected Rs.100 crores.
With this, Jailer has beaten the lifetime collection of Vijay's Varisu in four days. While Warisu had collected a total of Rs.320 crores, the Jailer accumulated that collection in four days. Apart from that Jailer movie is said to have collected more than Rs.100 Crore in tamil Nadu alone. Apart from this, at the end of four days, Jailer has collected Rs 32 crore in andhra pradesh and Telangana, Rs 23 crore in kerala, Rs 27 crore in Karnataka, Rs 6 crore in other states, and Rs 135 crore in foreign countries alone. As tomorrow is a holiday, the Jailer collection is likely to be close to Rs 500 crore, according to reports.
