Both cases were found in October-November

According to the reports, two patients infected with two new strains BF.7 (Omicron BF.7) and BF.12 (Omicron BF.12) of Corona's Omicron variant were found in October-November. Among them, a 61-year-old nri woman was found in Vadodara, who had come from America on 11 September. The woman was tested on november 18 after showing symptoms of the corona, which was found positive. This woman had taken all three doses of the American Pfizer vaccine. According to health department officials, this woman was kept in isolation at home, after which she recovered.

Passengers coming from abroad will have corona test

The central government has issued an alert for those coming from abroad after the presence of the Chinese variant in the sample of nri women in Vadodara. Now random corona tests will be done for passengers coming from abroad at the airport itself. Genome sequencing of samples of those found positive will also be done.
