Why did TDP drop plan to contest in Munugode?

G GOWTHAM
N Chandrababu Naidu, the president of the telugu desam party and a former chief minister of andhra pradesh, had been giving Telangana's party leaders the notion that the tdp would run in the Munugode assembly seat's by-election. Naidu reportedly assured the telangana tdp leaders that the party would at least be noticeable in Munugode, despite the fact that the party running for the seat had little effect on the results of the by-elections. However, the tdp leader abruptly changed his mind, ostensibly due to pressure from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The by-election in Munugode will be a closely contested contest, and all three parties—BJP, TRS, and Congress—have significant stakes in the outcome. No party is willing to take the chance of skipping even one vote. It is a high stakes war, especially for the bjp, and they are going all out to get support from minor players. The bjp is said to have told Naidu to abandon his plans to run the tdp candidate in the by-elections as a result. The tdp has a minor number of votes there, while not being a significant power, and if the party backs the bjp, the latter may benefit.
Second, as a kind of payment for supporting Naidu in the 2024 andhra pradesh assembly elections, the bjp is also requesting tdp assistance in the upcoming telangana assembly elections. After meeting with media mogul Ch ramoji rao in ramoji film city on august 21, it is claimed that the two parties agreed to an unofficial accord to this effect. Therefore, there is no purpose in running in the Munugode by-election right now, and it will undoubtedly send a good message to the bjp, which may lend the tdp a helping hand in the next elections in Andhra Pradesh!
