ravi received the finest introduction in the film as Arunmozhi
varma, Jaykram is still an effective screen presence as the Chola ruler. Karthi's portrayal of the provided comic-coated character is outstanding.
trisha and
aishwarya Rai are
beautiful on screen and fared well in their parts, respectively. In their limited screen time, other artists like Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar, Jayaram,
aishwarya Lekshmi, and Shobita
dhulipala do well.
As might be expected, AR Rahman's
music is excellent. Nearly every aspect of the
movie is thanks to AR Rahman.
ravi Varman attempts to lavishly show the massive sets built for the
movie via his cinematography, but his framing lacks a unique perspective. Although A Sreekar Prasad's editing is good, it may have been improved by cutting close to 10 minutes from the runtime. The period drama's production qualities are excellent, as is the production design work.
