Ponniyin Selvan - Part 1 Review : MASTERPIECE
The movie is based on the renowned tamil author kalki Krishnamurthy's book of the same name, Ponniyin Selvan, which extols the virtues of the nearly 1000-year-old Chola monarchy. Who attempts to take the kingdom? How would Vikram's (Vikram) king Aditya Karikaaludu attempt to defend it? What part does Trisha's Kundavai play? How does Nandini's role fit into the overall scheme? How well-known is Arunmozhi varma (Jayam Ravi)? You must see the movie in the nearby cinemas to learn that.
In this historical drama, the main performers all delivered respectable performances. While ravi -Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jayam ravi received the finest introduction in the film as Arunmozhi varma, Jaykram is still an effective screen presence as the Chola ruler. Karthi's portrayal of the provided comic-coated character is outstanding. trisha and aishwarya Rai are beautiful on screen and fared well in their parts, respectively. In their limited screen time, other artists like Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar, Jayaram, aishwarya Lekshmi, and Shobita dhulipala do well.
As might be expected, AR Rahman's music is excellent. Nearly every aspect of the movie is thanks to AR Rahman. ravi Varman attempts to lavishly show the massive sets built for the movie via his cinematography, but his framing lacks a unique perspective. Although A Sreekar Prasad's editing is good, it may have been improved by cutting close to 10 minutes from the runtime. The period drama's production qualities are excellent, as is the production design work.
