Modi will celebrate his birthday at Kuno National Park!!!

Prime minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his 72nd birthday this time at Kuno National Park in Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh. PM Modi will release 8 cheetahs in the Kuno National Park on the occasion of his birthday on 17 September. These cheetahs are being brought to india from Namibia. The cheetahs that the PM will release will be between four and six years old.

Union Forest minister Bhupendra Singh Yadav has given this information. He said that PM Modi will celebrate his birthday on the land of Chambal and will start this project on this day. Of the five cheetahs that have been brought from Namibia, five are males and three are females. This species of cheetah had become extinct in India. He said that this work is being done as per the intention of PM Modi. india shows the way to live life in harmony with nature, with harmony, with goodwill.

Why did this campaign start?

Actually, the last cheetah was seen in india in 1948. This year, king Ramanuj Singhdev of Korea had hunted three cheetahs. After this, this species of cheetah became extinct. The government of india brought the Wildlife (Protection) Act in 1972. In this, the hunting of any wild animal was banned. In the year 2009, a workshop was organized by the Wildlife Trust of india (WTI) in Gajner, Rajasthan. In this, a demand was made to bring back the cheetahs to India. Many experts were also present in this workshop along with ministers and officials of the central government. In such a situation, an agreement was reached on this matter. In the meeting, some places were identified across the country where these cheetahs can be brought back.

Why choose Kuno National Park?

After searching 10 places, the central government has selected Kuno-Palpur National Park for these cheetahs. The reason for this is that madhya pradesh has a good record in animal rehabilitation. Tigers were successfully settled in madhya pradesh in 2009. Kuno National Park is spread over 748 square kilometres. It is part of an open forest area spread over an area of 6,800 sq km.
