The prime minister and other dignitaries paid tributes to 13 people, including Bipin Laxman Singh Rawat, the Joint Chiefs of Staff who were killed in a helicopter crash. 

The bodies of the soldiers arrived at the delhi Bridge airport at 8 pm.

Prime minister Narendra Modi, Defense minister Rajnath Singh, Defense minister Ajay Bhatt, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, family members, Chief of air Staff, and Chief of army Staff paid tributes. 

After the ceremony, the bodies were shifted to the army Hospital. The bodies of four people have now been identified. The rest remains to be identified.

 The government has asked their relatives to come to delhi and facilitate it. If they do not recognize the signs, dna testing will be done. The bodies of Rawat and his wife will be laid to rest at the official residence tomorrow morning. 

The funeral will be held at Brar Square, Delhi. The body of Brigadier LS leader will be cremated at 9.30 am in Delhi. The body was brought to delhi from the military hospital in Wellington to the airbase in Sulur.

Meanwhile, captain varun Singh, who was injured in the accident, was taken to Bangalore for specialist treatment. Earlier, when the mourning procession reached Sulur and its environs, the locals received it with flowers. Hundreds of people paid their respects. 

The Coimbatore-Salem highway was crowded. The police vehicle during the mourning procession was involved in an accident but was quickly repaired and the journey continued. Ten people were injured in a collision with an ambulance. 

Thirteen people, including Joint Chiefs of Staff Bipin Rawat, were killed in a helicopter crash in Coonoor. Surviving captain varun Singh is in critical condition. Bipin Rawat's wife Madhulika Rawat, son LS leader, Brigadier LS leader, Lt. Govt.

The injured were identified as Colonel Harjinder Singh, Naik Gursewak Singh, Jitendra Kumar, Lance Naik vivek Kumar, Sai Teja, and Havildar Satpal. Malayalee junior warrant officer pradeep was in the group as a gunner in a military helicopter. 

 The pilot of the helicopter was Wing commander Prithvi Singh Chauhan.

Bipin Rawat will take over as India's first Joint Chiefs of Staff on january 1, 2020. He was the Chief of army Staff and the 26th commander of the indian army during 2016-19. 

had won numerous awards, including the Distinguished service Medal.

 He played a key role in controlling terrorism in the northeastern states and led the Joint Peace Corps in the Congo. The IAF Mi-17V5 helicopter was involved in the accident. The accident happened on the way to Sulur from Delhi. 

Yesterday afternoon 14 members travelled in a helicopter including general Bipin Rawat crashed in tamilnadu in ooty in Wellington but 1 of them is alive now but he is almost dead too.
