UP Legislature Polls: BJP Likely to win despite Lakhimpur incident?

The polling results for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections have been announced. Even after the Lakhimpur Gary incident, the bjp has a chance to win. assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, which is dominated by the bjp, are scheduled for early next year. Prior to this, UP inhabitants were polled on behalf of APP and C-Voters. Other political parties have been stunned by the news, believing that the bjp will win the elections despite the heinous act.

Residents in Uttar Pradesh have shown renewed faith in the ruling bjp, led by chief minister Yogi Adityanath. However, the number of its blocks is expected to fall significantly this time. Accordingly, the bjp will receive 42% of the vote, Akhilesh Singh Yadav's Samajwadi party will receive 33%, Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj party will receive 13%, and the congress and other parties will each receive 5%.

In terms of constituencies, the bjp receives 242 to 248 votes. The Samajwadi party is expected to receive 131 to 137 votes. Bahujan Samaj is expected to lose 16 to 20 seats, while congress is expected to gain 4 to 8 seats. These polls were conducted before and after the incident in Lakhimpur Gary. In the post-Lakhimpur elections, the bjp lost roughly 21 seats. In addition to the Samajwadi party, these twenty constituencies are expected to be accessible. ajay Mishra, the Union home minister, is also accused of being responsible for the Lakhimpur Gary tragedy.
