RECORD : Andhra Pradesh vaccinates 1.368 Million People in a Single Day!
The State of andhra pradesh has made a new record by creating a mega vaccination drive for the locals inside the state and as per data, 1.368 Million people were vaccinated on a single day itself. This huge feat in the mega vaccination drive at andhra pradesh was made possible due to more than 40000 ASHA workers and 5500 other medical staff.
This unique feat took 15 hours across 4589 medical institutes and vaccination centers across the state of Andhra Pradesh. So far, in andhra pradesh, 12,67,435 have received the first dosage of the vaccine, and 85,715 have also grabbed their second jab of the vaccine. Some senior medical officials said the exact figures will be known only by today morning as the vaccination drive took place even late at night.
So, in the state of andhra pradesh, if we make a list of the districts which topped the ranks, it is west godavari which ranks number 1 with doing more number of vaccinations followed by east godavari and then guntur comes at third place followed by vizag and Chittoor.
