A bjp leader from andhra pradesh dismissed rumours that the N Chandrababu Naidu-led tdp may re-join the nda, claiming that the central parliamentary board of the party has not made such a decision. The telugu desam party (TDPrumored )'s return to the bjp was rejected by sunil Deodhar, the BJP's co-incharge for andhra pradesh, who also referred to the Naidu party as "dynastic and corrupt." Prior to the lok sabha elections in 2019, the tdp president severed ties with the BJP-led national democratic alliance (NDA), accusing the group of "breaking commitments."
"Reports that tdp had joined nda are unfounded. No meeting has been held; the central parliamentary board will make the decision. There is no chance that the rumours are accurate, he told ANI. The tdp chairman is rumoured to be eager to restore his alliance with the bjp in anticipation of the 2024 lok sabha and andhra pradesh assembly elections, according to a series of talks that have taken place over the past month. The tdp supported Droupadi Murmu, an nda presidential candidate, in July, saying that she is a member of the tribal community. This was considered as the party's attempt to rejoin the NDA.
