TVS's Jupiter Facelift launched in India

TVS Motor Company has launched an updated version of its Jupiter 110 scooter in the indian market on thursday (August 22).  The new Jupiter has been introduced with a new engine, a new design and more features than before. The scooter is available in 4 variants and 6 new colour options.

Its starting ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 73,700. Pricing of the other variants is currently undisclosed. TVS launched the Jupiter 110 in11 years ago. After this, the company has made several updates for the first time. So far, 65 lakh units have been sold. In India, it competes with the honda Activa. TVS says that its seat is the largest in the segment and it comes with metal body panels as before.


The scooter has Meteor red Gloss, Titanium Grey Matte, Lunar White Gloss, Starlight Blue Gloss, Galactic copper Matte, and Dawn Blue Matte colour options. 10% More Mileage and 82 Kmph Top Speed. The new tvs jupiter will be powered by a 113.3cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke two-valve engine with air-cooled and fuel injection technology instead of the 109.7cc engine. It produces 7.91bhp at 5,000rpm and 9.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm.

TVS offers electric assist and micro-hybrid technology with this engine. This engine produces 8bhp of power and 9.8Nm of torque. The company claims that the new Jupiter iGO Assist feature will get 10% more mileage. It has a top speed of 82 km/h.
