Dalljiet further added, “To be honest, we wanted to do things that we loved, sometimes there was no logic to it. I was going to be a Gujarati bride, so I wore white, but I also wore chuda, which is a punjabi thing. White symbolizes peace and when we were finalizing it, we both agreed immediately.

My mother and father made me bangle, it is traditionally done by my maternal uncle, but in my case it is done by my parents. It was something he has looked forward to more than anyone else. It was very emotional and the second one was when I walked out with Jaden. The fact that Jaden was holding my hand and living this moment with me, the feeling of being with me as we walked down the aisle, was magical and beautiful.
