Manisharma, often referred to as the Melody Brahma, has left an indelible mark on the telugu film industry with his iconic compositions. His musical genius has graced the albums of star heroes like Balakrishna, Venkatesh, mahesh babu, and Pawan Kalyan, contributing significantly to the success of their films. Manisharma's compositions, spanning from 1998 to 2011, are considered a golden era in Tollywood, with countless memorable songs and impactful background scores.

Despite the enduring popularity of his earlier works, Manisharma seems to be facing a scarcity of opportunities in recent years. The emergence of new music directors in the industry, along with the influx of talent from other film industries, has diminished his chances. In 2023, he was associated with only one film, and there were no projects in 2022. In a recent interview, Manisharma expressed his sentiments about the limited opportunities coming his way. 


He mentioned his close association with mahesh babu, stating that they had a trusting professional relationship, but after their last collaboration, he never received any further calls. Reflecting on his work with Pawan Kalyan, he recalled composing the popular song "Chelia" from "Khushi" and the entire soundtrack for "Gudumba Shankar," highlighting the enjoyable collaboration. However, he expressed disappointment in not receiving any chances from these stars in recent times.


Manisharma acknowledged the competition in the industry but appealed to star heroes like mahesh babu and pawan kalyan to provide opportunities for various music directors, including himself. He emphadata-sized the need for diversity in musical compositions for the audience to experience fresh and unique sounds.
