To the amazement of fans, aamir khan Advait and Chandan—who had success with Secret Superstar—reunited for Laal Singh Chaddha. Many anticipated that the movie would become a box office success and aid bollywood in recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic. This, however, did not materialise because it turned out to be a huge failure. Rumors of a falling out between Aamir and the filmmaker resulted from this. The rumours have now been denied by Advait.
Advait Chandan clarified on instagram on october 18 that he and aamir khan are getting along just fine. To reassure followers that they are still good friends, he shared a selfie of himself with Mr. Perfectionist. Posted by Advait on Instagram: "Guys, I just want to say that Aamir Sir and I are like the Genie and Aladin, Baloo and Mowgli, and amar and prem in case anyone is speculating about a falling out between us. (sic)"
