Being exhausted after giving birth is normal, but postpartum fatigue is a more severe form of exhaustion that is frequently followed by low energy and attention problems. Another common condition is postpartum fatigue, which impacts 40% of new moms in the initial days after giving birth.

Even though post-pregnancy fatigue is a typical problem that new moms deal with and it can be difficult to manage, new moms can manage their fatigue and feel more energised by making some lifestyle changes. Dr Atchara V, the founder of Bump2cradle and a child development consultant, made the following suggestions in an interview with HT Lifestyle:

Adapt your objectives: Your main priority right now should be energy-saving for you, your infant, and your other children. That may require a slight lowering of your expectations for chores like laundry and housework. If you save your energy now, you'll have a better chance of getting it eventually.

Get as much sleep as you can by attempting to retire to bed as soon as your youngster is asleep at night. Take naps during the day when your kid does.

Healthy eating: Pick meals high in protein and complex carbohydrates that will give you sustained energy. Include nutrients, vitamins, and minerals-rich meals. Don't depend on caffeine and sugar for an immediate boost because caffeine can make you feel more drained.
