Anna opposed Mother's Day

All the credit for starting Mother's Day goes to Anna Jarvis. She distributed her mother's favorite white carnation flowers to women on this day. Since then it has become a trend to distribute white carnation flowers, so the demand for these flowers has increased. Soon, in the name of Mother's Day all over the world, arbitrary prices started being charged for chocolates, flowers and other types of gifts. Anna was very upset to see this marketed form of this special day dedicated to her mother and she stopped celebrating this day. Even a campaign was started for this.
