Meanwhile, Glory Swaroop, director of the National Center for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, said in a report to the federal government on women entrepreneurs that the share of women in micro, small and medium enterprises is currently 12 percent. Trouble getting credit
There are 6.70 crore small and medium enterprises operating in India. Of these, only 80 lakh companies are run by women. The biggest challenge women data-face is finance.
If a woman entrepreneur applies for a loan for business development it is rejected, or the loan is denied. Many women have been running start-ups for the past few years without the help of any bank loans. ”
