Harbhajan Singh alias Bhajji wrote on twitter that he will donate his rajya sabha salary. He wrote with a very generous heart: as he is s a member of rajya sabha and also he has data-faced many struggles in life to attain this position, he wants to donate his salary for the education and welfare of farmers' daughters.
There were reports that harbhajan singh may join the bharatiya janata party (BJP). The then punjab Congress chief, Navjot Singh Sidhu also met Bhajji, when it was being said that he might join the Congress. harbhajan singh joined AAP and was elected rajya sabha MP.
