1. 📅 New Prices Effective From november 1

Beginning November 1, 2025, state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) — including Indian oil Corporation (IOC), bharat petroleum corporation limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) — have revised LPG cylinder prices across India. The adjustment comes as part of their routine monthly review of fuel and gas prices.

2. 💼 Commercial Cylinders See a 5 Price Cut

The key highlight this month is that the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder, primarily used in hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses, has become cheaper by 5 per unit.

While this may seem modest, it offers some relief to the hospitality sector, which has been dealing with fluctuating energy costs in recent months.

3. 🏙️ City-Wise Rates (as of november 1, 2025)

4. 🏡 Domestic LPG Cylinder Prices Unchanged

There is no change in the price of domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinders, which are used for household cooking. The last major revision for domestic cylinders occurred earlier in 2025, when the government provided subsidies to keep prices stable for consumers.

5. 🌍 Why Prices Fluctuate

LPG rates in india are revised monthly, largely based on:

· International benchmark prices of propane and butane

· Exchange rate movements

· Local freight and distribution costs

Commercial rates tend to fluctuate more often, reflecting global market dynamics, while domestic LPG is more regulated.

6. 🧾 The Bigger Picture

While the ₹5 reduction may seem small, it signals relative stability in global LPG prices, following months of volatility. Experts suggest that if crude oil prices remain steady, there could be further cuts in coming months — a positive sign for small businesses.
