The punjab Cabinet on june 3 approved the waiver of Rs 67.84 crore loan taken by over 4,000 Dalit families from PSCFC. cm Mann said, "This waiver benefits all the loan takers disbursed by PSCFC till march 31, 2020, providing significant relief to the Scheduled Castes and Divyaangjans.

Addressing the gathering, punjab cm bhagwant mann said, "'Zero Liability Certificates' (NDCs) will be issued by the state government and the entire amount of Rs 67.84 crore including principal, interest and penal interest as calculated up to april 30, 2025 will be refunded to PSCFC by the state government.
