Prime minister Narendra Modi stops his convoy to give way to an ambulance during a roadshow in Varanasi. prime minister Narendra Modi stopped his vehicle to make way for an ambulance during a roadshow in Uttar Pradesh's varanasi today (Sunday). In a similar incident, on september 30 last year, the Prime Minister's convoy was stopped on a main road in gujarat to make way for an ambulance. The incident took place when prime minister Modi and officials were on their way to Gandhinagar from Ahmedabad.
Similarly, on november 9, 2022, after returning from a rally ground in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, prime minister Modi halted his convoy to make way for an ambulance. This year, during his 2-day visit to varanasi, PM Modi will inaugurate 37 projects worth Rs 19,000 crore for varanasi and Purvanchal. These include projects like roads and bridges, health and education, police welfare, smart city and urban development projects, railways, and airports. On the first day of his visit to varanasi, prime minister Modi will inaugurate the second edition of Kashi tamil Sangam at Namo Forest in the evening. On the occasion, he will flag off the Kashi tamil Sangamam Express train that will run between Kanyakumari and Varanasi. The Kashi tamil Sangam, to be held from december 17-31, will see the participation of 1,400 dignitaries from tamil Nadu and Puducherry, with plans to visit varanasi, Prayagraj and Ayodhya, an official release said. An exhibition showcasing art, music, handlooms, handicrafts, cuisine, and unique products from both the states of tamil Nadu and Kashi is on the agenda.
The kasi tamil Sangam will include lectures on literature, ancient texts, philosophy, spirituality, music, dance, drama, yoga and Ayurveda. Additionally, seminars are planned on innovation, entrepreneurship, knowledge transfer, pedagogy, and next generation technology. On Monday, prime minister Modi will participate in the Vixit Bharat Sankalp yatra at Bargi Gram Sabha in Sewapuri Development Block.
