Teacher discovers money in a student's answer sheet...

Chatter has been triggered by a post that purports to show how a student kept cash inside an answer sheet and asked the examiner for passing marks. Arun Bothra, an IPS officer, posted about it on X, the former twitter platform, along with a picture of some notes the teacher purportedly received from the student.

A teacher sent this picture. students requested passing marks for these notes, which they kept inside their board exam answer sheets. Bothra tweeted, "Tells a lot about our students, teachers, and the entire educational system." In the picture he shared, notes in different denominations were kept on what looked to be a bed.

At least three times throughout my paper correction days, this has happened to me! Even two decades ago, to coworkers as well. Usually, the money comes with a sombre story told instead of exam questions answered. Unsurprisingly, these students typically do poorly," wrote X user. Disgrace. Dismay. Sadding," said a second.

"My grandmother taught." He would frequently bring home copies of his board exam answers for me to review when I was a child and on a summer visit. This was probably 15-20 years ago. It shocked me. In any case, he used to grade them based on their work," added a third. "Poor circumstances," penned a fourth.
