A young bird sets World Record!!!

Bird kept flying continuously for 11 days, traveled 13,560 km. This bird, named Bar-tailed Godwit, was included in the marathon journey by the scientists of the Max Planck Institute under the 'Bird Tracking Project'. On the Internet, there is a lot of discussion about a bird that travelled from Alaska to Tasmania in Australia. This bird had traveled 13,560 km in just 11 days and 1 hour.

According to media reports, this bird completed this journey nonstop without stopping. Another surprising thing in this record of this bird is that the age of this bird is only 5 months. This bird started its journey from Alaska on 13 october 2022. This bird had a satellite tag number 2324684 on its lower back so that it could be tracked and this tag was also the identification of this bird. According to the data received from this tag, this bird had completed its journey by 25 October.

The Bar-tailed Godwit traveled through the islands of Oceania, Vanuatu and New Caledonia during his journey. But according to the information received from the tag on the bird, it seems that he did not rest anywhere on the way and he landed directly in Tasmania. This bird has broken two records of the earlier male bird '4BBRW'. This bird had set a record of covering 12,854 km in 2020 and 13,050 km in 2021.
