Uber showing crazy high prices for short rides? FIX the problem like this

The rise in fare pricing that is visible on the app, even for short journeys, has some Bengaluru uber users worried. A similar problem was reported by a social media user on the microblogging service. For a trip of about 2.5 kilometres, he wished to reserve a cab (sedan). But when he looked at the fare number in the uber app, he was stunned.


The organisation was demanding Rs. 18,923–23,094 (Sedan Intercity) and Rs. 7,740–9,453 (Two Wheeler) for just a 3 minute travel (Moto). However, the business addressed the problem and provided a fix for the outrageous fare charge. uber advises the user to reinstall the app after clearing the cache on his phone. The state government must set the price for app-based auto-rickshaw hailing services within 15 days, the karnataka High court ordered the state government on Friday. Last Monday, the government ordered online aggregators offering services for auto-rickshaws, including uber, Rapido, and Ola. The aggregators were also informed that if any vehicles were found to be in violation of the ban, action will be taken. The government had argued that the licence given under the karnataka On-Demand Transportation technology Aggregator Rules in 2016 did not apply to auto-rickshaws.
