Britain: This person's beating stopped 138 times in 48 hours but apple watch saved his life

A new feat of the company's famous watch has come to light as the ECG heart sensor of the apple   watch has once again saved a man's life. Britain's David Last, 54, has credited the apple watch for saving his life when his heart stopped an astonishing 138 times in a 48-hour trial period in the hospital. 


The person's heartbeat was very low and his heart was beating at a rate of 30 beats per minute, whereas the normal heart rate should be between 60-100 bpm. After 48 hours of tests like ECG and MRI, his cardiologist told him that there was a massive blockage in his heart. His heart stopped 138 times in 10 seconds during the ECG period of 48 hours. 



The man was last operated on this month and a pacemaker was installed to detect abnormal heart rhythms. On his birthday in april this year, his wife gave him the apple watch as a gift. He said about his wife and this watch, "If she had not bought me my apple watch for my birthday, I would not be here. I will always be grateful to him for this. Apart from charging it, it is always in my hand.
