In this case, 2 lakh rupees for lack of service, emotional distress, material loss, mental anguish, 1 lakh rupees as punitive damages for causing hardship to Kandaswamy and his family by not distributing the gas cylinder on time, and 10 thousand rupees for litigation expenses totaling 3 lakh 10 thousand rupees.
