In the past few months, X has been adding some new features and at the same time, it is also locking some features such as the edit post feature or the one through which we used to share long-form content. Other social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch allow users to livestream for free.According to a recent post by the company’s ‘Live’ account, “Starting soon, only Premium subscribers will be able to live stream. This includes going live from an encoder with X integration.”
Apart from this, Elon Musk earlier had also said in April that X would soon start charging a $1 fee for new users who want to post on the platform. He added that users will have to pay this annual fee if they wish to use basic features such as bookmarking, replying, or liking posts.
