Best Camera Phones Under Rs 30,000: oppo reno 11, Vivo V29e, More

Top Camera Phones Under Rs 30,000: redmi Note 13 Pro, OnePlus Nord 3, and more to choose from.

Over the last few years, cameras have become one of the leading ladies of the smartphone show. So much so that we do not think you get “bad” cameras on phones, even in the budget segment. Of course, as you climb up the price ladder, the cameras on smartphones get better and better, but camera power in phones has become so democratic that you do not need to venture into premium waters to get a great phone camera.

You can get some really powerful smartphone cameras loaded with megapixel numbers, all under Rs 30,000.  Sounds hard to believe? Well, if you are planning to buy a smartphone with a budget of Rs 30,000 and camera performance is your priority, here are five devices that can shoot to kill in the photographic sense:

Oppo Reno 11 5G: Portraits Of Perfection

The Reno line-up from Oppo is known for two things: premium design and great cameras and the Reno 11 5g is no exception to this. Apart from looking super sleek and high-end, the phone brings a very solid camera setup. The oppo reno 11 comes with a 50-megapixel sony IMX890 main sensor with OIS backed by a 32-megapixel tele-portrait sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.

Catching selfies is the job of another 32-megapixel sensor on the front. Oppo has included what the brand calls a HyperTone Imaging Engine on the phone which improves the camera’s performance, in terms of color, depth, and detail and this especially becomes visible in portrait shots.

Apart from a great camera setup, the phone also comes with a premium 6.7 inch curved full-HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support, and Android 14 out of the box with ColorOS on top.  The only minus here could be the slightly dated and mid-segment processor, MediaTek Dimensity 7050 that powers the phone. but it still will glide through your everyday chores with ease.

With the launch of the new redmi Note 13 series, xiaomi decided it was time to amp up those megapixel numbers which is why not only the Pro+ variant of the phone but even the Pro version of the redmi Note 13 comes with a massive 200 megapixel samsung Isocell HP3 sensor with OIS that brings a big f/1.65 aperture and up to 4x lossless zoom.

While this is the sensor that does all the heavy lifting and is pretty much versatile enough to take all kinds of shots, two other sensors are backing it —  a handy 8-megapixel main ultrawide and a rather forgettable 2-megapixel macro lens.

Selfies and video calls are covered by a 16-megapixel sensor on the phone. Along with camera muscle, this redmi Note also brings what redmi Notes are best known for a rock-solid spec sheet. The phone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with 120 Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, which is a very good mid-segment performer.

It has a 5,100mAh battery which comes with 67W fast charging support and while the Android 13 on the phone out of the box seems a little dated, the phone comes with the promise of getting updated to Xiaomi’s new HyperOS.

Another phone that aces the camera game in this price segment is the Realme 12 Pro+. Apart from having a premium design, the phone brings a solid triple camera set up on the back, featuring a 50-megapixel sony IMX890 main sensor with OIS, a big 64-megapixel periscope portrait sensor with 3x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.

This is a very rare camera setting in terms of megapixels as one of the secondary sensors on the phone — the periscope portrait sensor brings a big number to the table. It is not just a number — the 3x optical zoom is coupled with 6x hybrid and 20x wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">digital zoom, making the phone very capable when it comes to zooming in. And because the brand has not compromised on the megapixel count, the details do not get too compromised when you push the phone either.

Another camera USP of the phone is its 32-megapixel sony front-facing camera which takes great selfies.

There are some other great specs bundled with these great megapixel numbers too. The phone brings a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display to the table with a 120Hz refresh rate runs on a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, and comes with Android 14 out of the box.  It is powered by the very able Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor which is not the most powerful processor in the segment, but is quite capable of handling the phone’s everyday and camera abilities.

Yes, it does cross the Rs 30,000 price point but only by a little, and is often available with offers that pull it below Rs 30,000

This is one phone that you cannot overlook if selfies and content creation are your calling. The Vivo V29e comes with the best in class 50-megapixel selfie camera with Eye auto focus which means you can use this phone to make some really good quality content.

While the front camera is the clear star of the camera show, the phone also comes with a dual camera set up on the back with a good 64-megapixel main sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel secondary ultrawide sensor.  The phone also brings a very elegant slim design to the mix, and has a beautiful 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display on the front with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on a 5,000mAh battery.

It does have a few sub-par specs in the list as compared to the competition — it is powered by the Qualcomm 695 processor which is strictly an everyday use chipset, it runs on Android 13 and comes with just 44W fast charging support which is another damp towel on the spec works, but if great selfies are what you seek, this the phone you need to pick.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is an absolute smashing all-rounder, but it also comes with great cameras. The phone brings a triple camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel sony IMX890 main sensor which is seen on flagship phones, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Selfies are handled by a capable 16-megapixel sensor.

While the Nord does not have the Hasselblad tech that the OnePlus flagships possess, it still delivers very high-quality images and videos. The phone also boasts a gorgeous 6.74-inch full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9000 which can take on every day and then some heavy-duty tasks without too much trouble. This is packed with up to 16GB LPDDR5X ram and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, making the phone a multitasking monster.

It runs on a 5,000 mAh battery which comes with 80W fast charging support, which is the best in the list, and while it comes with Android 13 out of the box, it is set to get an Android 14 update and the clean, clutter-free OxygenOS on top is another point in its favour.
