services to the next level.
reliance jio has been fast in 4G
services and has gained more
customers and
business and has become the largest telecom company in
india in the last 6 years. Bharti
airtel entered the field with a plan. Bharti
airtel, India's 2nd largest telecom operator has launched its
5g service in 8 major cities of the country. This 30-day Bharti
airtel has announced that it has gained 1 million i.e. more than 10 lakh customers.
airtel has launched its
5g service in only a few countries, but the response from
customers has been very good. We are continuously upgrading our network so that all
5g devices in
india can use
airtel 5g Plus network
service soon.
Randeep Sekhon, Chief
technology Officer of Bharti
airtel, said that they are upgrading the network to provide
5g services across the country soon.
reliance jio has not yet released official data on
5g customers.
airtel has provided
airtel 5g services in eight cities in
india including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Nagpur, and Siliguri. As these cities have cell sites only in some areas,
customers are getting
5g service only in some areas.
As
airtel continues to improve its network for
5g service, the company said that it is planning to gradually introduce
5g service in 8 cities and other parts of the country where it is currently served.
airtel has decided to purchase telecom equipment from
nokia, Ericsson, and
samsung for its
5g service. Bharti
airtel has bagged a deal worth around $2.5 billion for
5g telecom equipment.
Indian telecom companies have been ordered to purchase telecom equipment only from companies certified by the
central government as 'trusted sources' as 'trusted products' due to various doubts related to cyber security by Chinese telecom equipment manufacturers.
Trusted Sources' lack of a 'trusted product' tag has left India's booming
5g services unmarketed. As a result, these two Chinese companies have laid off 90 percent of the employees assigned to their
indian business.
