Companies clashed on twitter due to Ind-Pak match..!?
It is well known that the indian team won the India-Pakistan match in Meebham. One of the two events that indians are proud of recently was india defeating Pakistan; the other was Rishi Sunak, an indian origin, who took over as the prime minister of England. Tweets posted by zomato have created a sensation. It is known that in the recent match between india and pakistan, virat kohli knocked Pakistan's fingertips to victory, and indian cricket fans celebrated diwali as they beat Pakistan. This victory sparked a twitter war between India's leading food delivery company zomato and Pakistan's food delivery company Careem Pakistan.
On october 21, zomato asked its followers, are they ready to turn on the lights? It meant are they ready to data-face the India-Pakistan match? In this sense, that tweet was perceived. Following this, careem pakistan responded on his twitter page saying Let's hope they(India) are ready to fail.
After the indian team's resounding victory, zomato tweeted about Pakistanis asking if would they like to order food (defeat).
Virat is ready to serve them, it added sarcastically. Careem pakistan said that they are on a diet, so they have not ordered anything. In response, zomato said Did they burst into tears instead of eating sweets for Diwali?
Cricket fans enjoyed watching the tweets of these two companies. But this is not the first time the two companies have gone to war on Twitter. It was mentioned that the two companies clashed indirectly on twitter even after india lost to pakistan in the Asia Cup last September.
