The construction on the 5g network, according to Union Information technology minister ashwini Vaishnav, is nearing completion. The exclusive international Trade Fair 'India Telecom 2022' opened today, giving the indian telecom sector the opportunity to meet eligible overseas buyers. The Telecommunications Equipment and services Export Development Council is hosting the event from february 8 to 10, 2022, with cooperation from the Ministry of Telecommunications and the Ministry of External Affairs, as part of the government of India's Market Access Initiative.
Union minister for Communications, Electronics, Information technology and Railways ashwini Vaishnav officiated at the occasion, which was also attended by significant figures such as Communications minister Devusinh Chauhan, Communications Secretary and DCC Chairman K Rajaraman.
"India has emerged as a significant electronics manufacturing hub," Union minister ashwini Vaishnav remarked at the exhibition's launch. India's electronics manufacturing industry is now worth more than $75 billion dollars. It is rising at a rate of more than 20% per year. A big semiconductor architecture has recently been introduced. It is a massive undertaking to develop a wide range of materials, businesses, and 85,000 engineers. In terms of technological development, the 4G core and radio network has been developed locally. The 5g network is in its final stages of development. The country today is participating in the development of 6G standards and the 6G thinking process, ”he said.
