Moon Knight's Living Statue Is A Marvel Character
Ten minutes with Steven Grant and your heart is already breaking, which is a credit to oscar Isaac's moon Knight performance. Steven's closest friend is a silent and motionless living statue street performer who seals the deal. Shaun Scott plays the golden fellow, who doesn't say his name (or anything else), although moon Knight credits him as "Crawley." Crawley's name, like Donna/Donna Kraft's, is based on moon Knight's experiences in the Marvel comics. Bertrand Crawley, a homeless man who serves as Marc Spector's informant, is specifically mentioned. His transition from living on the streets to being a street performer reflects Donna's transition from being Marc's employee to being his boss, with both honouring the source material while following a different path.
When Steven Grant finds Marc Spector's burner phone, he understands that his alter has been receiving a lot of attention from a woman named Layla. Layla (who we know will appear in future episodes and is performed by May Calamawy) is most likely moon Knight's depiction of Marlene Alraune, despite her distinct name.
Marlene Alraune, who first appeared in a Marvel comic in 1976, is an archaeologist and Marc Spector's romantic companion. Layla is romantically involved with oscar Isaac's Marc alter and has been established as an archaeologist, albeit she has yet to appear onscreen.
