Samantha to romance younger brother
Actor karthi was last seen on screen in the family thriller Thambi helmed by papanasam fame jeethu joseph and his next release will be the romantic family flick sultan helmed by Remo fame Bakkiyaraj Kannan and now karthi is shooting for Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan.
Karthi was recently said to have signed a new movie which will be bankrolled by prince pictures known for earlier bankrolling movies such as Dev, Singam 2, and mohini and it has been said that this new movie will be helmed by Irumbuthirai and hero fame PS Mithran. samantha will be doing the female lead role in this venture. Earlier, PS Mithran directed samantha for 'Irumbu Thirai' and again he has zeroed her.
Buzz is that gv prakash has been signed to score the music for this yet to be titled movie and it must be noted that post-Asuran, gv prakash has been signing biggies such as Suriya starrer movies soorarai pottru and Vaadivaasal. gv prakash and karthi earlier collaborated in Aayirathil Oruvan, Saguni, and Komban. The shooting for this movie will begin once the Corona pandemic situation fades out.
