The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 Auction will be held on the 27th of this month.
Each franchise has been allotted a purse of ₹15 crore for team building.
Teams were allowed to retain a maximum of five players before the auction.
The retention lists for all five teams have now been officially released.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) retained four players ahead of the auction.
The franchise’s decisions have left their purse half empty, with a large portion spent on star players.
RCB, the 2024 WPL champions, will enter the 2026 auction with ₹6.15 crore remaining.

The costliest retention and one of the most valuable players in WPL history.
