The Board of Control for cricket in india (BCCI) posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) of indian cricketers arriving in New York ahead of the ICC Men's t20 world cup 2024.
The first batch of indian players, including captain Rohit Sharma, landed in New York to begin their preparations for the ICC Men's t20 world cup 2024 in June. This group mostly consists of players who were knocked out before the IPL playoffs.

After the Super 8 stage, in the first semi-final, the top team in the points table will data-face the fourth-placed team, while in the second semi-final, the second-placed team will data-face the third-placed team. The winners of both semi-finals will then compete in the world cup final on june 29.
