The Super 12 league round of the t20 world cup cricket series has ended in a grand manner. The t20 world cup cricket series which started in australia on october 16 has been going on for the last 2 weeks. The league round matches have ended today with the match between india and Zimbabwe. The indian team won the match by a margin of 71 runs. In Group A, new zealand, england and australia have 7 points with 3 wins each from 5 matches. But on the basis of run rate in the points table, the new zealand team ranked first and the england team ranked 2nd and advanced to the semi-finals.
As far as Group B is concerned, the indian team has held the top spot since the beginning. south africa was expected to finish 2nd but lost to pakistan in a shock defeat to the Netherlands. However, based on the result of the India-Zimbabwe match, who will be in the semi-finals? It was about to be decided that they were going to clash.
