BCCI President Ganguly has released an important update on the indian squad for the t20 world cup to be held in October. The indian team won the world cup 11 years before. It has been 15 years since we won the t20 World Cup. The last time they won the ICC Cup was in the 2013 Champions Trophy. The bcci has decided to win the trophy this time around. Currently, the bcci has introduced innovation in everything as the new captain and new coach. The t20 world cup will be held in australia next October.
The rahul Dravid-Rohit Sharma alliance has already begun work on preparing the indian team for this. Accordingly, india will now clash with south africa in the t20 series with other players retiring from seniors. But Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh, who have struggled in the IPL in this series, were not given a chance.
India has played only 4 matches so far with the same players. This led to allegations that there was a setback in preparing the team for the future Cup.
Speaking on the occasion, bcci President Ganguly said the players who will be playing in the t20 world cup series will be given a chance by the upcoming england series.
According to Dravid, he has selected 11 players. Currently, he will allow them to continue playing in various tournaments. This way all 11 players know what they need to do and how to deal with the crisis. If Kohli, Rohit, Bumrah, and Jadeja return to the england t20 series, it is noteworthy that the other young players will not get a chance.
