It has been informed that darshan for four hours on december 19 is canceled given Alvar Thirumanjanam at tirupati Ezhumalayan temple. Thousands of devotees visit the world-famous tirumala tirupati every day. Not only from india but also from various foreign countries are visiting Ezhumalayan. Every day, thousands of devotees visit tirupati in the hope that they will be transformed if they visit Tirupati. Also, devotees are allowed to have darshan of Swami in various modes like free darshan, Rs.300 fee, VIP.
Vaikunda Ekadasi:
Accordingly, the Vaikunda Ekadasi festival is usually celebrated in Perumal temples during the month of Margazhi. The Vaikunda Ekadasi festival is going to be held in full swing after the Brahmotsava festival held in tirumala Tirupati. From 23rd december to 1st january 2024, the Vaikunda Ekadasi festival will be celebrated with much fanfare at the tirupati Eyumalayan Temple. Lakhs of devotees visit Sami on these days. The gates of heaven are opened on the 23rd of december on the occasion of Vaikunda Ekadasi. The Gate of heaven, which opens from december 23rd, will remain open till january 1st. The Devasthanam is also making arrangements for Heaven's Gate Darshan for this purpose.
Alwar Thirumanjanam:
In tirumala tirupati Ezhumalayan temple, once a year the whole temple is cleaned called Alvar Thirumanjanam. As a part of it, the Alvar Thirumanjana event is being held this month. The four-hour Sami darshan on december 19 from 6 am to 10 am is canceled due to Alvar Thirumanjanam being held in the temple. During these four hours, cleaning of the walls, roof, and puja materials from Ananda Station to Pangaruvagili is carried out.
Cleanliness work is going on throughout the temple. After the cleaning work is completed, holy water mixed with turmeric, sandalwood powder, and herbs is sprinkled all over the temple. After that, the cloths wrapped around the moolavar's thirumeni are removed and special pujas, naivetiyam, and aradhana are performed. After this, the devotees are allowed for darshan.
