More Windows opened for Corruption due to the failure in shuffling of Old employees

SIBY HERALD

More than 60% of Officials and employees are working in the same Hyderabad and its surrounding districts together as the government fails to shuffle its employees. It is a rule that staff who are working in revenue departments should be transferred once in every two years to avoid corruption.

But in Telangana, the rule stays only on the paper. Many of them try to retain their posts by bribing with ministers and politicians. Even if they are transferred forcibly they bribe the authorities and make sure they get postings within GHMC and HMDA limits.

Due to these, there are lots of complaints regarding political lobbying and employee unions. Due to this, Chief Minister KCR and Municipal Minister KTR announced the transfer of GHMC and HMDA staff working at the same place for years. But existing rules never permitted that and there were no major transfers.
